The challenge
Like many organisations reaching the limits of on-premises infrastructure, this South African business wanted to do more with its technology, support growth, improve resilience and respond faster to changing demand, without the heavy capital cost of buying and maintaining ever more hardware.
The solution
BUI worked with the organisation to amplify its capabilities on Microsoft Azure, applying the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework to design a target architecture that was scalable, secure and cost-effective. Workloads were moved into a well-architected Azure environment where compute could be tuned to match load, and where backup and recovery were built in from the start.

On Azure, the organisation gained elastic scale, greater resilience and a predictable operating model, amplifying what the business could achieve while keeping a tight rein on cost.
